Pansy Waters Hulette, 90, of Parsons, died at 12:09 p.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Society of Parsons where she had resided since May 2005.
She was born December 15, 1917, in Seligman, Missouri, to Lee Otie and Alma (Taylor) Pendergraft. She grew up and attended schools there.
At the age of 15, she moved to Joplin, Missouri, where she lived until moving to Miami, Oklahoma, in 1975. In February 2002, she moved to Parsons to be near family.
During World War II, she worked in Benicia, California, at a defense plant. She then worked as a nurse's aide at Freeman Health Systems in Joplin, and later, in home healthcare, until retiring in 1998.
She and Harry Waters were married in December 1936, in Joplin. He preceded her in death May 12, 1961. In 1979, she and William Hulette were married in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1982.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Miami. She was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed playing bingo and was especially fond of her cat, Minky. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Following cremation, the family will hold private burial services at a later date.
