Patricia Y. Miller

Patricia Y. Miller, 76, of Parsons, passed away at 8:55 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2026, at Elmhaven East.

Patricia Yvonne Miller was born on April 14, 1950, to James Illif and Lois Jean (Lemmon) Miller in Hutchinson, Kansas. She grew up and attended school in Hutchison, until she moved with her family to Hawaii at age 14. Then Patricia and her family moved to California, where she graduated from San Clemente High School. Later she lived in North Carolina for a time.

For many years, Patricia worked as a game operator for a traveling carnival.

She attended the First Baptist Church of Parsons.

She enjoyed macrame and crocheting.

In 1967, Patricia and Larry J. Freeman were united in marriage in Dana Pointe, California. The couple later divorced. In 1973, she and J.C. Black were married. The couple later divorced.

Her survivors include two sons, B.W. “Bubba” Freeman, III, and Clarence Joseph Black; two daughters, Lisa Lynn Strickland and Brandy Marie Brenner; one brother, James Adrian Miller; and one sister, Marion Jean McKaskey.

No service has been planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
