Patricia Kay Myers, 59, a lifelong resident of Parsons, died at 5:45 a.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010, at her home. She had been in failing health.
She was born January 25, 1951, in Parsons, Kansas, to Delbert F. and Beaulah M. (Wilson) Carter. She grew up in Parsons where she attended elementary school and later attended Labette County Community High School in Altamont.
Through the years she worked at the Katy Hospital, Labette County Medical Center, and 32nd Street Quick Stop.
She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She and John "Randy" Myers were married October 3, 1980, in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Morgan Myers.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Monday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
