Patricia E. True

Patricia E. True, 67, of Parsons, died at 10:10 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2013, at her home. She was born May 8, 1945, in Burlington, Kansas, to George F. and Amy Irene (Johnson) True. As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Burlington. At a young age, she moved into care facilities for the mentally disabled. For numerous years she had lived in St. Paul and, most recently, Rescare Connections in Parsons. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Aliceville, Kansas, where she was baptized. She enjoyed playing the piano, going on van rides, and going to McDonald's to get a cup of coffee. Survivors include numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marilyn and Nancy True. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2013, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Friends may call at their convenience Thursday evening at the funeral home. Graveside committal services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Aliceville, Kansas, under the direction of Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, Kansas.
