Paul Michael Campmier

Paul Michael Campmier, 60, of Parsons, passed away at 6:56 a.m., Saturday,

November 9, 2019 at the Labette Health emergency room. His death was unexpected.

Paul was born, January 8, 1959 in Parsons to Paul Raymond Campmier and Wanda May (Mattox) Campmier. Paul grew up and attended schools in Parsons and graduated from the Parson High School in 1977.

He worked for a time at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant and also for the Meadow View School. Paul then worked for a time for the Parsons Presbyterian Manor nursing home. He later retired due to disability. Paul enjoyed fishing, woodworking, working in the yard and was an avid NASCAR and Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Survivors include his longtime partner and companion, Joanne Savage, of the home; three brothers, Elmer R. Campmier, Sr. and his wife, Nyla of Parsons, Albert Campmier and his companion, Kathy Fisher of Parsons and Joe Campmier, of Parsons; two sisters, Diana O'Hara of Parsons and Debra Cook and her husband, Paul of Parsons as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Following cremation, the family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation which will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home.
