Paul F. Lynch, Jr.

Paul F. Lynch, Jr., 70, of rural Parsons, passed away at 6:45 p.m., Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul.

Paul Francis Lynch was born on June 16, 1953, to Paul F. and Esther Mae (Hare) Lynch in Wichita, Kansas.  He grew up and attended school in St. Paul, graduating from St. Paul High School.

Following high school, Paul served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1976.  Paul continued his military service in the Kansas Army National Guard from 1978 to 2000.  He lived and worked in Utah, Texas and Alaska.

Paul continued his education, earning an Associate's degree from Labette Community College.  For many years, Paul worked in construction.

He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul.  He was also a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include:

Three brothers – Robert "Lonnie" Lynch and his wife, Judy, of Atlanta, Texas

Patrick J. Lynch of New Mexico

John W. Lynch of Parsons, Kansas

Three sisters – Rebecca J. Jewett and her husband, Larry, of LeRoy, Kansas

Susan C. Lynch of Parsons, Kansas

Cassandra L. Lynch-Lindsey and her husband, Joshua, of Parsons, Kansas

Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a graveside service with military honors at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at St. Francis Cemetery in St. Paul.
