Paul Eugene Pease, Sr., 72, of Chetopa, died at 3:40 a.m., Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, Oklahoma.
He was born September 22, 1933 in Mayes County, Oklahoma to Asa and Alice (Worley) Pease. He was a farmer and gardener, and was a lifetime resident of the Chetopa area. He loved to garden and do woodworking and loved to fish. He attended the New Life Freedom Center in Galena.
He married Daisy Doherty, in 1954 in Miami, Oklahoma. They later divorced.

He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Pease; three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2006 at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa with Rev. Steve Fellows officiating. Burial will follow in the Welch Cemetery of Welch, Oklahoma. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Chetopa.
