Paul T. Workman

Paul T. Workman, 63, of Parsons, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Caney, Kansas.

Paul Theodore "Todd" Workman was born on June 27, 1957, to James Frederick and Anne Cecilia (Munding) Workman in Parsons, Kansas. As a young boy, Paul grew up and attended school in Parsons. After graduating from Parsons High School in 1975, he earned an Associate's degree from Labette Community College.

For many years, Paul worked at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant as a logistics manager. The last several years, he had been a direct care giver at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center.

He was a faithful member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Parsons and a 3 ^rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul's greatest joy came from spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. An excellent father, he enjoyed making gifts for his family and telling "Dad" jokes. A favorite hobby of Paul's was coin collecting. Paul was a very kind man who didn't know a stranger.

On October 29, 1977, Paul and Barbara K. Milliron were united in marriage at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Parsons. She survives of the home.

Nicholus Workman of Parsons, Kansas

One daughter – Angela Workman and her companion, Paul Aders, of Parsons, Kansas

Six grandchildren – Grace, Isabel, Jacen and Eisley Workman; and Henry and Abby Kay Aders

One brother – Stephen Workman of Chanute, Kansas

Two sisters – Trudy Nienhuser of Dewey, Oklahoma

Kris Baker of Parsons, Kansas

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, David, Mark and Tony Workman; and one sister, Judy Huff.

The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Parsons. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the church. The family will receive friends in St. Patrick Parish Hall following the rosary.
