Phillip W. Brinson

Phillip W. Brinson, 51, of Parsons, passed away at 5:01 p.m., Friday, February 9, 2018 at Labette Health in Parsons.

He was born November 4, 1966 in Winona, Mississippi to Roy M. and Kathy F. (Woods) Brinson. He grew up in Parsons where he attended Lincoln Elementary School, Parsons Jr. High School, and graduated from Parsons High School.

He worked in construction and welding. He enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and camping. In earlier years, he also enjoyed playing softball.

He and Katie Rion were married April 10, 2009 in Parsons. She survives of the home.

One Sister – Tammy Bruner and her husband, Eric, of Parsons, KS

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy M. Brinson, on February 14, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
