Preston T. Billingsly

Preston T. Billingsly, 18, of Cherryvale, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, at his home.

Preston Taylor Billingsly was born on June 14, 2007, to Kyle Billingsly and Alessandra Francine Lopez in Parsons, Kansas. He grew up and attended school in Houston, Pearland, Mound Valley and Altamont where he built lifelong friendships.

Preston was a true free-spirit- funny, goofy, handsome and deeply loving. He had a heart far bigger than this world and a soul that radiated warmth. He was the kind of person who could light up a room with his smile and laughter and lift spirits with his humor.

Music was Preston’s passion. He loved listening to it, creating it and sharing it. His playlists told stories, his beats carried emotion and through music he found both expression and connection. It was more than sound to him-it was life, energy and freedom. He also loved gaming. Competing, laughing and connecting with friends.

Whether through music or gaming, Preston found joy and community and he brought that same excitement and energy to everyone around him.

Above all, Preston cherished his family and friends. Time spent together. Whether laughing, talking, gaming or simply being present it meant everything to him. His love was genuine, his loyalty unweaving and his presence irreplaceable.

Though his time here was far too short, Preston’s impact will live on in every shared laugh, every game played in his honor and every memory held close. He will forever be remembered for his beautiful spirit, his boundless heart and the joy he brought into this world.

He is deeply loved and will be deeply missed and will forever be in our hearts.

One sister – Riley Beckham

Grandparents – Grammy & Grampy Fehlauer, Mema & Papo Lopez, Mamma Mia, Grandpa Steve ‘Shabado’and GramGram Billingsly, Mema Sharon, and Kathy Kebert

Uncles- Lucas Billingsly, Darren Lopez, James Beckham, Max Beckham, Joel Beckham, Colton Dixon, Ashton Dixon and Brendan Dixon.

Aunts- Jolicia Fehlauer, Sohpia Fehlauer and Emma Billingsly.

Great Aunt and Uncle – Krista ‘Sissy’ and Bobby Moreno

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
