Randall M. "Randy" Irwin, 72, of Grove, Oklahoma, and formerly of Oswego, passed away at 11:58 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2022, at his home.

He was born on November 21, 1949, to Milton S. and Florence M. (Loeffler) Irwin in Iola, Kansas.  As a young boy, he moved with his family to Oswego, where he grew up and attended school, graduating from Oswego High School in 1967.

Following high school, Randy earned an Associate's Degree from Pittsburg State University.  He worked at Peabody Tec-Tank for a number of years before starting his own business in 1983.  Randy established the General Service Corporation, which primarily focused on residential HVAC and commercial construction work for 33 years before retiring in 2016.  Throughout the years, he also raised cattle and farmed.

He attended the Church of the Shepherd in Grove, Oklahoma, and for many years was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Mirza Shrine.

His greatest joy came from spending time at Grand Lake with his family, especially with his grandchildren.  He obtained his pilot's license and flew a helicopter for Fuel Dynamics, as well as airplanes for recreation.  Randy also enjoyed taking trips in his motor home and riding his motorcycles.

In 1971, Randy and Marvena Stice were united in marriage.  The couple later divorced.  On April 24, 2004, Randy and Sherri K. Yoder were married at the Westside Christian Church in Parsons.  She survives of the home.
