Ray E. Mabery, 64, of Parsons, passed away at 11:15 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 at Elm Haven East Nursing Home.
He was born November 28, 1951 in Parsons, Kansas to Carl Kenneth and Mary Lou (Kramer) Mabery. He grew up and attended school in Parsons and Altamont.
For over 40 years, he worked as a Kirby vacuum cleaner distributor. He loved football, basketball and baseball and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.
On November 12, 1971, he and Charlene Beeler were married. She preceded him in death on August 23, 1991.

One Granddaughter – Makena Brackenridge Hardin, TX
One Sister – Elaine Marshall Independence, KS
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his father, Carl Mabery.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Miami, Oklahoma. Friends may call at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons after 1:00 p.m. on Monday to sign the register. The casket will remain closed.
