Rebecca Vitt

Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Vitt, 54, of St. Paul, Kansas died at 8:01 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2019 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

She was born on December 4, 1964 in Fort George G. Meade, Maryland to Vester and Cecilia (Matzker) Lawrence. With her father being in the military, the family lived in several cities, but Becky mostly grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Eventually the family moved to Erie and she graduated from Erie High School in 1983.

For the last ten years Becky was the secretary for the Southwind Extension Office. She especially enjoyed working with the 4-H children.

Becky married Curtis Daniels. The couple later divorced. On February 25, 2017, she and Dennis Vitt were married at St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul. He survives of the home.

She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul and its Altar Society. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Becky also enjoyed gardening and flowers.

Her Mother-in-Law – Pauline Vitt of St. Paul

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cecilia Lawrence, and one brother, Kenny Lawrence.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. Francis Catholic Church.   The rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at St. Francis Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, immediately following the rosary, at the church.
