Rhonda J. Brown

Rhonda J. Brown, 61, of Saint Paul, passed away at 8:48 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2023, at Labette Health.

Rhonda Jean Brown was born on April 9, 1961, to Jack Brown and Sandra Lee (McDonald) Gannaway in Chanute, Kansas.  As a young girl, she grew up with her mother and step-father, Sandra and Clayton Standley, and attended school in Erie.

Rhonda lived her life as a free-spirit.  She was a daughter, sister, homemaker and mother.  She enjoyed making a home for her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include:

Her daughters – Tosha Brown of Saint Paul, Kansas; Nina Clark (Michael) of Paola, Kansas; and Nikki Brown of Parsons, Kansas

Five grandchildren – Alexis Clark; Gavin Clark; Breale Brown; Brenna Oilar; and Bentlee Brown

Her mother – Sandra Gannaway of Saint Paul, Kansas

Four siblings – Randy Brown (Dana) of Erie, Kansas; Kevin Standley (Kathy) of Erie, Kansas; Kimberly Standley of Saint Paul, Kansas; and Kelly Standley of Saint Paul, Kansas

Several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Brown; her step-father, Clayton Standley; and one grandson, Justice Oilar

The Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the St. Paul United Methodist Church.  Cremation is under the care of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
