Rhonda S. Hoffner

Rhonda Hoffner, 61, of Parsons, passed away at 8:10 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2024, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Rhonda Sue Hoffner was born on March 13, 1962, to Jim and Betty (North) Hoffner in Marion, Kansas.

Her greatest enjoyment came from being around the people she loved and cared about.  Having her hair played with and her back scratched were two of Rhonda's very favorite things.  She also enjoyed sitting outside, playing dominoes, being onery, and relaxing at home.  Those who cared for Rhonda were her second family and she loved them.  In return, her caregivers felt blessed to care for her and loved her too.

She is survived by her father, J.C. Bell; her brother, Michael Hoffner; her biological father, Jim Hoffner; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Bell, on July 17, 2020.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.  Burial will follow at the Fredonia Cemetery in Fredonia.  Friends may stop by the funeral home to sign the register from noon to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
