Richard R. Gainer

Richard R. Gainer, 63, of Chetopa, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

He was born April 4, 1954.  He was married to Teresa Redman, they later divorced.  He had worked in construction in the past.   He enjoyed riding motorcycles and shooting guns.  He also enjoyed being with his family and friends.  He had served in the United States Army and had attended the Community Bible Church in Chetopa.

He is survived by two sons, Dylan and Ryan Gainer, both of Chetopa.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa officiated by Rev. Randy Frazier.  The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
