Robert Dean "Bob" Good, 73, of Parsons, Kansas, formerly of Paola, Kansas, passed away at 6:35 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2007, at the Presbyterian Manor in Parsons.
He was born October 14, 1934, in Parker, Kansas, to Ralph and Hayden (Williamson) Good. He grew up and attended school in Mound City, Kansas. Bob served his country in the United States Navy from 1954 -1959 aboard the USS Catamount where he took part in "Operation Redwing".
In December 1959, he and Margaret L. Rockley were married. She preceded him in death in January 1979. In November 1979, he and F. Carmel "Candy" Kinsch were married. They lived in the Paola area until 1999 at which time they moved to Iola, Kansas.
Bob worked as a meat cutter in Mound City, Kansas, Osawatomie, Kansas and Ottawa, Kansas. In 1966, he moved to Paola, where he was employed as a meat cutter with Sutherland's Home Center. He also cut meat at Country Mart and Price Chopper in Gardner, Kansas. Bob was employed as a meat cutter at Country Mart in Iola and then Garnett, Kansas, until being diagnosed with cancer in June 2007. Bob and Candy moved to Parsons in October 2007.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and grilling outdoors. He was a past member of the Elk's BPOE Lodge No. 921 in Osawatomie and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Paola.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Hayden Good; two stepsons, John Kinsch and Clay Kinsch; and a grandson.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2007, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.
