Robert C. Kellogg, 60, of Parsons, died at 7:11 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2009, at the Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He had been in failing health.
He was born January 10, 1949, in Lewiston, Idaho, to Harold David and Opal Maxine (Philebaum) Kellogg.
As a young boy, he moved to Kansas with his family where he grew up and attended schools. He worked at various factories in the Parsons area where he also owned and operated Kellogg's Tree Service for several years.
He enjoyed fishing, cooking, camping, and going to the casinos. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He and Louise Curnutte were married. They later divorced. He and Doris Thompson were married May 14, 1973. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Tommy Kellogg, in 1976; and one sister, Lola Landgren, in 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
