Robert A. "Bob" Robison, 76, of Chetopa, died at 9:35 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2008, at his home.
He was born February 29, 1932, to Carson J. and Catherine A. (Barrett) Robison, in New Rochelle, New York. He attended schools in Dutchess County, New York. He served in the United States Marine Corps.
He moved to Chetopa in 1976 and was self-employed. He was also the owner of Robison Woodworking, and for the past several years was known for making hand-made caskets.
In addition to woodworking, he also enjoyed music.
He and Patricia K. George were married April 16, 1982, in Oswego. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Don Robison and Kenneth Robison; and a nephew, Michael Murphy.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2008, at the Community Bible Church in Chetopa. The casket will remain closed. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at the family home located at 1504 Maple, Chetopa.
