Gavino "Robert" Valverde, Sr., 75, of Omaha, Nebraska, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Omaha.
Mr. Valverde worked for over 30 years as a maintenance worker at a high school in Omaha.
Survivors include Two Daughters, Mary Vosler and Pam Goodell both of Omaha, NE; Two Sons, Robert Valverde, Jr. and Ron Valverde, both of Parsons, Kansas; Step-daughter Taye Conkle of Missouri; Nine Grandchildren; Eleven Great-grandchildren; Two Brothers, Alex Valverde and Emilio Valverde both of Omaha, NE; and One Sister, Theresa Pautler of Independence, Kansas.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Calvary Cemetery in Parsons with Military Honors Given By the Brown-Bishop Post #704 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m ., Tuesday at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home where friends may call after 3:00 p.m..
