Ronald G. "Ron" LeMaster, 65, of Parsons, passed away at 9:01 a.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Labette Health.

Ronald Gene LeMaster was born on April 5, 1956, to Daniel Levi and Lola Faye (Brown) LeMaster in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He grew up and attended school in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Following high school, Ron served in the United States Army.  He lived and worked in Texas and Arkansas before settling in Parsons in 1992, where he has lived since.  For several years, he worked for Individual Mausoleum, until retiring due to health reasons.

Ron was a Christian and enjoyed using his God-given artistic talents of drawing, writing poetry and woodworking.  A jack-of-all-trades, he was a CB operator with the handle "BearTracks" and loved animals.  His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family

On March 2, 1983, Ron and Nancy L. Mahan were united in marriage in Miami, Oklahoma.  She survives of the home.

Robert LeMaster of Parsons, Kansas

Adam LeMaster and his girlfriend, Colleen, of Mound Valley, Kansas

Three daughters – Rene Buchanan of Springdale, Arkansas

Tessa Perry and her husband, Dale, of Humboldt, Kansas

Shelley Brynds and her husband, Bill, of Cherokee, Kansas

Daughter-in-law – Naccona LeMaster of Edna, Kansas

Twenty grandchildren

Eight great-grandchildren

His mother – Lola Brown of Chickasha, Oklahoma

One brother – Roland LeMaster of California

One sister – Judy Johnson and her husband, Don, of Chickasha, Oklahoma

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel LeMaster; and one infant grandson, Kyle Lemaster, in 2004.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life for Ron will be scheduled at a later date.  Cremation is under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
