Ronald D. "Ronnie" Gamblin, 51, of Girard, Kansas, died at 2:44 a.m., Thursday, August 26, 2010, at the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. He had been in failing health.
He was born July 27, 1959, in Atwood, Kansas, to Joseph Lyle and Leona June (Carlson) Gamblin. For several years he was a resident at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center and, for a time, he also lived in a nursing home. Since March of 2002, he had made his home at Res-Care Connection in Girard.
