Ronnie J. "Ron" Robinson, 63, of rural Mound Valley, Kansas died at 3:35 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his home. He had been in his usual health and his death was unexpected.
He was born December 24, 1952 in Parsons to M.D. "Curly" Robinson and Jo Ann L. (Cormeny) Robinson. He grew up and attended schools in Parsons. He graduated from Parsons High School in 1970. He then earned an Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology at Pittsburg State University. He owned and operated an automotive alignment shop in Parsons for a few years. Later he worked at Labette County Medical Center for ten years. In 1978, he began working for UPS until retiring in 2010.
Ron greatly enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and playing cards.
He and Brenda Myers were married and they later divorced. He and Theresa (Green) Parker were married on December 2, 2000 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She survives of the home.

Three grandchildren – Ariella Bayer, Cayden Bayer, and Moses Honeycutt
Six Step-grandchildren – Carly Parker, Camren Parker, Christian Boyer, Jake Cornett, Ali Boyer, Carson Colbert
He was preceded in death by infant twins and a granddaughter Chloe Robinson.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Sunday at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
