Samantha S. Simon

Samantha S. Simon, 19, of Joplin, Missouri, died at her home Thursday, October 4, 2012.


She was born July 14, 1993 in Joplin to Orvil C. Spencer and Chenise A. Simon. She moved with her family to Ft. Wayne, Indiana in 1995. They moved to Kansas City in 1998, and lived there until moving to Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2004. She attended Mt. Tabor High School and was involved in Young Life and also was part of an improv group there. She graduated in May of 2011. In September of 2011, she returned to Joplin. She was currently working at Subway as a Sandwich Artist.


She enjoyed reading, singing, watching movies, and puzzles.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Grace Baptist Church in Altamont.
