Sharon L. Conner

Sharon L. Conner, 66, of Parsons, passed away at 5:13 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Freeman Health in Joplin.

Sharon Louise Moore was born on July 28, 1955, to Jesse and LaVonia (Magby) Moore in Baxter Springs, Kansas.  She grew up and attended school in Galena, Kansas, graduating from Galena High School in 1972.

She was the owner and operator of Balloons-to-Go in Parsons for a time.

In the past, Sharon was a member of the Saints Memorial Church of God in Christ in Galena.  She was an avid reader.

Her husband – Carroll McByers of the home

One daughter – Shalisha L. Hastings of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Four grandchildren – Evan Conner, M'Kinzie Conner, D'Kel Conner, and Mia Hastings

One great-granddaughter – Cylia M.L. Conner

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chetopa.  Friends may stop by the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons to sign the register from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday.  The family will receive friends from 7 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
