Sharon K. Mishler, 69, of McCune, passed away at 11:40 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Medicalodges Pittsburg.
She was born March 21, 1948 in McCune, Kansas to Robert Lewis and Edna Alvina (Bergmann) Mishler. She grew up in McCune where she graduated in 1966 from McCune Rural High School.
For many years, Sharon worked as a boiler fireman at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant. She enjoyed her rescue dogs, fishing, gardening, and helping others in her community.
Survivors include:
One Brother – Robert E. Mishler and his wife, Marilyn Pleasantville, PA
Two Nephews – Robert Mishler and Jesse Mishler
Two Nieces – Sheri Mishler and Kelly Akerley
She was preceded in death by one brother, John L. Mishler, in 1969.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at McCune Cemetery under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
Memorials are suggested to the SEK Humane Society in Pittsburg or the Stella Wells Christmas Basket Fund. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
