Shawna L. Paulie, 44, of rural St. Paul, Kansas passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at
10:05 p.m. at the Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Her death was unexpected.
She was born August 26, 1972 at Parsons, Kansas to Donnie R. and Vickey L. (Smith) Reel. She grew up and attended schools in Parsons and graduated from Labette County High School in 1990. Shawna then attended the Labette Community College where her emphasis was on computers.
She was married to James P. "Jim" Paulie and they had been married for 22 years and had lived in rural St. Paul, Kansas since their marriage. Shawna was currently working as office manager for the A-lert Construction Company in Erie.
Shawna enjoyed arts and crafts and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Daughter: Jesica Turner and her husband, Mitch - St. Louis, Missouri
Step-daughter: Clorisa Paulie - of the home
Two Grandchildren: Gwendolyn Turner and Brooke Turner

Brother: Darin and his wife, Kristen Reel - Altamont, Kansas
Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins
Funeral services for Shawna will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church in Parsons. Friends may call at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons after 1:00 p.m., Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
