Shirley M. Fox, 70, of Parsons, died at 9:33 a.m., Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Parsons Good Samaritan Center. She had been in failing health the past year.
She was born November 2, 1936 in St. Paul, Kansas to Pearl and Goldie Hazel (Beery) Riley. She grew up and attended schools in St. Paul, Kansas and Keyes, Oklahoma. She lived in Wichita for many years where she worked in the Kings-X restaurants as a cook.
She moved to Parsons in 1998 and had lived here since.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Following cremation, the family will hold private services at a later date.
