Siew S. Caven

Siew S. Caven, 72, of Parsons, passed away at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, October 4, 2020, at her home.

She was born on January 26, 1948 in Singapore to Ker Ming Fum and Chow Moey (Teng) Fum.  She grew up and attended school in Singapore.

She and Roy Caven were married on July 11, 1970 in Singapore.  The couple lived in the United Kingdom from 1970 until 1988, when they moved to Northridge, California.  She worked at the Sears store as a sales associate there for twenty years.  In 2013, she and her husband moved to Parsons.

Siew enjoyed going for walks, cooking, Tai Chi, and shopping.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include:

Husband – Roy Caven of the home

One Son – Paul Caven and his wife, Carolyn, of Parsons, Kansas

One Daughter – Sharon Flodquist and her husband, David, of Simi Valley, California

Five Grandchildren – Lindsay, Pauline, Brooke, Noah, and Christopher

Two Great-Grandchildren – Hayden and Aubrey

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

The Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday October, 9, 2020, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.  The funeral can be viewed live on the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home Facebook page.  For all events, wearing masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
