Silas Andrew Wood, infant son of Ryan S. and Krista L. (Meck) Wood, of Girard, was stillborn at 3:11 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Pittsburg.

Maternal Grandparents - Richard and Vickie Meck Tecumseh, KS
Paternal Grandparents - Raymond and Sondra Wood Pittsburg, KS
Maternal Great-Grandparents – Bill and Violet Moore Tecumseh, KS
Maternal Great-Grandmother – Mildred Meck Girard, KS
Maternal Great-Great-Grandmother – Virginia Epling Topeka, KS
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Tyler Joy Wood, on July 12, 2006.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Cherokee, Kansas. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons, Kansas.
The Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
