Stephanie L. Mansfield

Stephanie Mansfield, 65, of Parsons, passed away at 4:12 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Labette Health.

Stephanie Lea Miller was born on May 23, 1955, to Lewis Wesley and Phyllis May (Broadwell) Miller in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Enid, Oklahoma, where she graduated from high school.

On March 21, 1979, Stephanie and William P. Mansfield were united in marriage in Kansas City, Missouri. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Parsons for a time before moving to California in 1983.

While living in California, Stephanie worked as a teaching assistant in public schools. Her husband passed away on April 26, 2006. In 2012, she returned to Parsons, where she lived since.

She attended Parsons Church of the Nazarene, where she shared her passion for Jesus and education with young children. Her greatest joy came from teaching young children. She also enjoyed arts and crafts.

Two sons – Kevin L. Miller and his wife, Susie, of Phoenix, Arizona

William P. Mansfield, Jr. of Winfield, Kansas

Three daughters – Amanda N. Mansfield and her husband, Ryan Flewell of Parsons, Kansas

Crystaline Lopez and her husband, Raymond Cota, of Long Beach, California

Phyllis M. Mansfield of Parsons, Kansas

Seventeen grandchildren -Kevin Miller, Jr.; Jordan Miller; Alyssa Miller; Alisha Miller; Miranda Mansfield; Jayden Mansfield; Emily Flewell; Angel Lopez; Felicity Lopez; Elizabeth Lopez; Valerie Corona; Aiden Cota; Eyan Cota; Aryia Cota; Loyal Sifuentes; Alexandra Mansfield; and Destiny Button

One great-granddaughter – Elia Miller

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William P. Mansfield.

Friends may call the funeral home to view Mrs. Mansfield and sign the register from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
