Symantha Kay Sexton, 55, of Parsons, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Her death was unexpected.
Symantha Kay Thomas was born to Gaylon Thomas and Loretta Chism on May 2, 1969, in Homestead, Florida. She was raised by Loretta and Chuck Bishop, who she called Dad.
She lived a life of servitude marked by her deep, unwavering love for others and her dedication to caring for others in the nursing field. She was a woman of great strength, with a fun-loving spirit and a sharp sense of humor that brought joy to those around her. Even when she had little to give, she would give all she had to those she loved.
Her faith was central to her life – she loved singing at church, serving with the children's ministry, and expressing her creativity through poetry, painting, and drawing. She loved music very much. She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dogs, who were constant companions and a source of joy in her life. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her compassion, selflessness, and resilience were evident in every aspect of her life, leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
