Taj F. Young

Taj F. Young, 51, of Parsons, passed away the morning of Thursday, March 9, 2023, at his home.

Taj Feon Young was born on December 15, 1971, to Wayman L. Young and Fannie Dolores Beard in Coffeyville, Kansas.  As a young boy, he grew up and attended school in Parsons and Independence.

Family was the center of Taj's life.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his children.  Taj enjoyed going camping, fishing and cooking.

On January 26, 2012, Taj and Rachel Wester were united in marriage.  The couple later divorced.

16 grandchildren

Siblings – Shannon Beard; Wayman Young, Jr.; Jeremy Tyson, Sr.; Tasha Stewart; Sequoia Tyson; Tia Smith; and Twon Smith

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Cremation is under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
