Tammy Mcknight

Tammy G. McKnight, 49, a lifelong resident of Parsons, passed away at 9:00 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2015 at her home. She was born July 19, 1965 in Parsons, Kansas to John William and Elizabeth Ann (Mead) McKnight. She grew up and attended schools in Parsons. She loved life and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed coloring, fishing, boating at the lake with her family, attending demolition derbies, and hanging out in "the shop" with the guys. Tammy especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include: One Brother – Mike Waun and his wife, Sabrina Parsons, KS One Sister – Missy Schoenhofer and her husband, Ty of the home Three Nephews – Jacob and Levi Schoenhofer; and Aiden Waun Tammy was referred to as "Aunt" by numerous others, including her special Dalton. She was preceded in death by her parents. Following cremation, the family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
