Terry L. Myers, 56, of rural Parsons, died at 6:20 a.m., Sunday, August 27, 2006, at his home. His death was unexpected.
He was born March 4, 1950 in Yates Center, Kansas to Theodore "Ted" and Geraldine (Cunningham) Myers. In 1959, he moved with his family to Ulysses, Kansas. He attended grade school in Big Bow and high school in Ulysses. He later farmed in Ulysses. He moved to Parsons in 1975 where he also farmed. In 1982 he began working as a pen-rider at the former Jarboe-Lackey Feed Lot now the Heritage Feeders.
He enjoyed being with his family, the outdoors and riding four-wheelers.
On December 17, 1983, he married Debbie (Harris) Motter. They were later divorced.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons, Kansas. Burial will be in the Spring Hill cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home.
