Thomas O. Landstad, 61, of Parsons, died at 10:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at his home.
He was born June 27, 1947, in Burbank, California, to Ole Archie and Jule Laverne (Waples) Landstad.
He grew up and attended schools in California where he earned an Associate degree from Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
In his later years, he moved to Parsons. For a time, he was employed by L & S Well Service, rural Cherryvale.
Graveside memorial services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at the Fort Scott National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas.
