Timothy Scott Holsinger, 62, of Parsons, Kansas, passed away on September 9, 2026.
Tim was born May 18, 1964, in Parsons, Kansas, to Elmer and Dowana Holsinger. He was the youngest of nine siblings, with four brothers and five sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dowana, and his siblings Randy, Dean, Mike, David, Robin, and Mary. He is survived by his sisters Debbie, Sherry, and Judy.
Tim was a proud father of five children. From his first marriage to Lisa, came his daughters Amanda and Renee. From his second marriage to Greta, came his son Colby. And from his marriage to Trina, came his daughters Charlee and Ashlynn. He also has four sons-in-law and is grandfather of nine grandchildren.
Tim loved the Lord deeply. He was involved in his church communities. He led worship, played in the band and sang in the choir. He loved sharing his faith and love of music with others.
Tim dedicated more than 20 years to law enforcement, serving with the Labette County Sheriff’s Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. He was exceptional in his line of work and took great pride in it. Tim also loved the outdoors, especially fishing & hunting; often including his kids in these passions. He had a quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor that could make just about anyone laugh.
Above all, Tim was a family man who loved his family fiercely. His strength, determination, humor, talents, faith, and countless stories will live on through those who knew and loved him. He was one of a kind. His life was a gift, his memory a blessing, and his legacy will live on through the people he loved.
The graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2026, at Harmony Grove Cemetery in rural Dennis. Services are under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
