Tina M. Wolke

Tina M. Wolke, 45, of Parsons, was found at her home Friday, February 8, 2013. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected. She was born September 18, 1967, in Wichita, Kansas, to Leonard George Wolke, Sr. and Barbara Kay (Rose) Wolke. She grew up and attended school in Wichita until moving with her family to the South Mound area at the age of 12. Tina was a 1985 graduate of St. Paul High School. For over 25 years, she was employed by Wal-Mart in Parsons. She was a member of Our Father's Vineyard in Parsons. Tina enjoyed making jewelry, shopping, counted cross-stitch, and loved animals. She adored her nephew, Hunter, and especially enjoyed caring for him. Survivors include one brother, Leonard G. "Lenny" Wolke, Jr. and his wife, Yalanda, of rural Galesburg, KS; one nephew, Hunter Wolke; and one aunt, Pat Armitage and her husband, Gene, of Parsons, KS. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard G. Wolke, Sr., on September 25, 2008; and her mother, Barbara Wolke, on September 9, 2012. Following cremation, memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2013, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons where the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
