Tom L. Brewer, 64, of rural Dennis, passed away at 11:50 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his home.
He was born October 21, 1951 in Picher, Oklahoma to John and Christina (Route) Brewer. As a young boy, he grew up in Vinita, Oklahoma and Wichita. Following high school graduation, he served in the United States Army three years.
After receiving his honorable discharge from the Army, he lived in California where he worked at U.S. Divers for several years. He then lived in Wichita, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and relocated to Parsons in 1978.
Through the years he worked for Hardman Real Estate building houses, Southwest Carbon, UPS, and most recently Dayton Superior (formerly Ankortite) in Parsons where he worked as a machinist for 30 years until retiring.
He was a member of the Flatlanders Car Club. He enjoyed model cars, muscle cars, and going to car shows.
He and Sherrie Cox were married July 27, 1973 in Maize, Kansas. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. No services are planned at this time.
