Vernon Charles "Mike" White, 63, of McCune, died at 6:05 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2009, at his home.
He was born June 8, 1945, in Parsons, Kansas, to Earl and Dollie (Smith). Through the years, he worked as a construction laborer.
On December 11, 2008, he and Emily J. Meek were married. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include:
Two Daughters – Kay Cee Kirchhofer Parsons, KS
Sunny Hedges McCune, KS
Four Grandchildren
Two Sisters – Susan Stinson Parsons, KS
Mary Blake Parsons, KS
Following cremation, the family will hold private committal services. Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
