William R. "Bill" Albertson, 62, of McCune, died at 4:33 a.m., Thursday, April 8, 2010, in Montgomery County, Kansas. He had been in his usual health and death was not expected.
He was born September 15, 1947, in Parsons, Kansas, to Carl Raymond and Wilma Allene (Murphy) Albertson.
He grew up in Parsons where he attended schools and later earned a Master's degree at Pittsburg State University. Through the years, he had worked as an accountant for the State of Missouri.
He is survived by one sister, Carla Markley, of Pittsburg, KS; three nieces and two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private graveside services will be held by the family. The Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
