William F. "Bill" Noble, 74, of rural Bartlett, passed away at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Labette Health in Parsons.
He was born July 1, 1943 in Coffeyville, Kansas to James H. and Thelma M. (Stice) Noble. As a young boy, he grew up in Bartlett where he attended Bartlett Grade School and graduated in 1961 from Labette County Community High School in Altamont.
He loved his chosen profession of farming and raising cattle.
On July 11, 1964, he and Anita L. Garrett were married at the United Methodist Church in Chetopa. She survives.

One Son – William Douglas Noble and his wife, Jamie Independence, KS
Two Daughters – Terri Strickland and her husband, Dewayne Moreland, GA
Anita Michelle Pippin Springfield, MO
Five Grandchildren – Casey Strickland, Josh Noble, Jeremy Noble, Jacob Noble, and Judd Noble
One Brother – Larry James Noble and his wife, LaFaye Bartlett, KS
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Jordan Noble.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Bartlett United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Lake Creek Cemetery near Bartlett. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Friday, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa.
