William Clayton "Bill" Ruckle, 63, of Parsons, died at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 at his home.
He was born December 5, 1950 in Superior, Nebraska to Maurice and Grace Pauline (Martin) Ruckle.
For many years, he worked as a respiratory therapist at Labette County Medical Center in Parsons. He enjoyed gardening, collecting artifacts, gambling, and card games.
Survivors include his mother, Grace Pike, and half-sister, Joyce Weaver, both of Tampa, FL; niece, Nichole Schatzman, Conway, AR; nephew, Nathaniel Weaver, Tampa, FL; niece Christi Wright, of Oklahoma; and nephew, Lonny Wilson, of Texas. Survivors also include his significant other, Martha Davenport, Parsons, KS; and her two grandchildren, Channler Davenport and Ashlynn White.
He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Ruckle; step-father, Joseph Pike; and a sister, Cheryl Wright.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. No services are planned at this time.
