William H. "Bill" Spielbusch, 94, of St. Paul, passed away at 11:04 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2016 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
He was born February 4, 1922 on the family farm in rural St. Paul, Kansas to Herman and Mary (Lero) Spielbusch. As a young boy, he grew up in rural St. Paul where he attended country school.
On September 1, 1948, he and Carmen Lou Born were married in St. Paul. Following marriage, the couple lived and farmed in the rural St. Paul area. Through the years, he also worked as a cattleman for John O'Bryan, Ed O'Bryan, and Casey O'Bryan. From 1987 through 2015, he worked at St. Francis Catholic Church as groundskeeper and in building maintenance.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.

Dan Spielbusch and his wife, Connie St. Paul, KS
Steve Spielbusch and his wife, Diana Parsons, KS
Two Daughters – Kathy Treiber and her husband, Don St. Paul, KS
Jani Brennon and her husband, Doug St. Paul, KS

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Spielbusch, on March 2, 2007; three brothers, and two sisters.
The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016 at St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery. The rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m., Friday, at St. Francis Catholic Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the rosary.
