Willis Thompson, Jr., 64, of Parsons, died at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born, March 12, 1947 at Chetopa, Kansas to Willis Thompson, Sr. and Emma Dora (Doan) Thompson. He moved to Parsons with his family in the mid 1950s where he attended schools. He lived in Parsons most of his life and had worked at the Parsonian, Sirloin and Ernesto's for a time.
He enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping and being outdoors. He also enjoyed playing dominoes and working on lawn mowers and bicycles. He was a quiet and peaceful person and enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Doris Kellogg – Parsons, Kansas
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Alex James Greenfeather and one sister, Janie Greenfeather.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
