Zachary Scott "Zach" Harding, 21, of Parsons, died early Saturday morning, November 5, 2011, near Erie, from injuries sustained in a car-train accident.
He was born July 24, 1990, in Parsons, Kansas to Scott William and Rachael Lynn (Looney) Harding. He grew up and attended school in St. Paul and was a 2008 graduate of St. Paul High School. He had also attended Labette Community College and Pittsburg State University. While attending PSU, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
For a time, he worked at Stafford & Westervelt Chartered CPA firm in Parsons. He enjoyed camping, canoeing and playing cards. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
